After candidating in the fall of 2007, I began my ministry with Lakeside Presbyterian Church as pastor on January 1, 2008. It was a wonderful way to begin a new year. As a lifelong Presbyterian, Minnesotan for the first 30 years of my life, and graduate of UMD, God certainly called me to the right congregation!
Being part of the family of LPC is a blessing. It is a privilege to be with people as we journey in life and faith. We have gone through exciting times and difficult times together. New ministries, deaths, fire, planting trees, floods, retreats, weddings, mission trips, baptisms, service projects, and extending care to others are some examples of life together as this particular Church Family. This is a church where members use their gifts and talents to bless others and help the church to grow. It is exciting to see how God continues to use this church in old and new ways to share God’s love.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy working on projects in my home and yard, woodworking, reading, and sports.
