Scholarships

LPC students are most fortunate to have wonderful tuition resources, thanks to the generosity of church members and families. Below you will find brief descriptions of the available scholarships, with more detailed information and applications also available.

The deadline to submit a scholarship application is June 1. Applications and reference letters may be printed and emailed to the church office at office@lakesidepreschurch.org.

Opportunities include the following:

LPC Scholarship: Open to all college students who are church members or affiliates of LPC.


Kent D. Anderson Scholarship: Must be a church member or affiliate of LPC, who is a junior or senior in college in one of these fields: engineering, math, music, or one of the sciences.


The Waits Scholarship is for students planning to pursue a full time OR part-time career in a Christian Vocation. Included in this vocation may be the following categories: Minister of the Word and Sacrament, Certified Christian Educator, Minister of Music, and ministers designated as educators, chaplains, pastoral counselors, campus ministers, missionaries, partners in mission, evangelists, administrators, social workers, consultants, or in other specific tasks appropriate to the ministry of the church.


Continuing Education Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students: This reimbursement scholarship is available for members of Lakeside Presbyterian Church who wish to further their academic goals or obtain an additional licensure or certification in order to enhance their ability to improve their quality of life.
